As I have said, this blog will be a place where I talk about things that God has created that are absolutely amazing. So with tomorrow being Valentine's Day I find myself in a position to talk about the most amazing woman in the world.
My wife.
I cannot comprehend how amazing God is that He would create someone so amazing in so many ways. Not only does He love us while we are yet sinners - not only does He rescue us that we might spend our redeemed lives glorifying Him - but He blesses me in addition by introducing me to someone so devoted to Him and His glory that it makes my heart beat faster than a drum roll.
I mean honestly, look what she said yes to:
Not exactly the cream of the crop. But she did say yes and I have spent three of the best years of my existence with Brianna. I asked her to be my Valentine for life. Through a ring and a ceremony I said to Brianna that I would spend the rest of my days on this earth growing in a relationship with the One True God right beside her. I could not ask for a better Valentine, and I am so thankful for all the she puts up with when it comes to me.
So in honor of tomorrow I will leave you with some of the reasons that my wife is in fact so amazing. Read them, enjoy them, and know that I mean them with all that is in me.
1. She loves the Lord
2. She is hot
3. She is such a great cook
4. She cares so much for others
5. She loves her family with all of her heart
6. She dedicates her time to making sure the things that she does are done well
7. She decorates things so nicely
8. She will one day be a wonderful mother to our children
9. She is really hot
10. She makes sure that I wear things that match because my style is terrible (as evidenced in the picture above)
11. She has such a good voice
12. She is realistic
13. She is my biggest fan and makes me feel loved everyday
14. She listens to my music with a smile on her face
15. Although my memory is terrible I do remember the smile she had on her face as she walked down the aisle that evening of our wedding. I now have some semblance of an idea of how Christ might feel as the Church presents itself before the Bridegroom himself. I have never seen anything more beautiful.
